As promised, I’m back with a face of the day using those Zoeva goodies we talked about.
I did one of my favorite makeup looks — softly, sparkly eyes, glowy skin and pink lips. This is pretty much my go-to makeup look, so I like to keep it interesting by trying out and incorporating new products and formulas.

For my eyes, I used two shades from the Zoeva warm Spectrum eyeshadow palette (indicated below):

Whenever I try new eyeshadows, I don’t use primer for the first time because I like to get a feel for how they blend and wear without any help. I loved how pigmented and easy to blend these shadows were, but they could have used the boost of a primer, because I noticed some fading as the day wore on.
The rest of my eye makeup was pretty simple. I just used my favorite too faced better Than Sex Mascara and Dior Diorshow Brow Styler Gel (This is one of my current favorite brow products! You can see it in action in this date night makeup Tutorial).

For skin, I applied NARS The multiple in South Beach along my cheekbones and also applied NARS The multiple in Puerto Vallarta around my mouth to color-correct before adding my foundation. This is a new trick that I learned when I got my makeup done at the NARS boutique in San Francisco recently. I’ve never used these products in this way before and really liked how it turned out!
For foundation, I used PUR Cosmetics HydraFluid Water Serum foundation in Tan, which I reviewed previously here. I still really like this foundation, although in the future I’d add a touch of powder. These photos were taken after a few hours of wear, and I got extra “glowy” ;-).
For blush, I used the Zoeva Luxe color blush in Burning Up, which is a terrific neutral blush on me. It looks very orange/peach in the pan, but when applied lightly, it’s a very subtle blush. This is quite pigmented, though, so it would be easy to build up for more vibrancy.

And, because I like to go overboard with my highlighter, I lightly dusted Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in So Hollywood over my cheekbones. I love this highlighter and like to use it every chance I get.

Last, I used the Glo Minerals Suede Matte Crayon in Demure on my lips. This color is a terrific “my lips but better” shade, and it’s so comfortable and easy to apply. I featured this lipstick in my annual spring roundup of pink lipsticks, and it’s become something I reach for pretty often.
Overall, I really like the Zoeva products I used here, and I’ll definitely be using both the eyeshadow palette and the blush in more looks!
The Zoeva warm Spectrum Eyeshadow palette is available at Zoeva for $38, and the Luxe color blush is $11.80.
